I'm still not quite in the knack of branding, but here are some interesting concepts I came up with on the fly. They are for my friend's menswear collection. I only had a day to work and think about them. Somehow, I just couldn't get it down in one sitting. Better luck next time.

MANGA FARMING
Tokyo-based artist Koshi Kawachi recently demonstrated his "Manga Farming" technique -- which uses old manga as a growing medium for vegetables -- by cultivating a crop of radish sprouts in an installation at the Matsuzakaya department store in Nagoya.

The most peculiar design contest ever. {Herman Miller}

When you visit the website, a great video plays. But they seem to be trying to really create hype by collecting website hits and data. What's up Herman Miller? The more people enter, the more gifts they are giving.... But that seems to be the end of it. Weird way to do some brand extension.
